Size: 2.95 x 2.52 metres9'7 x 8'3 feet
Reference number: 26270

A contemporary interpretation of 19th century English Arts & Crafts carpets, particularly those of the renowned English textile designer, C.F. A. Voysey, whose works were largely inspired by those of William Morris, as well as by the Art Nouveau movement, and many of which are exhibited in the Victoria and Albert Museum.

This example, finely hand-woven in Iran with vegetable-dyed colours and soft, handspun wool, features an olive green-taupe grey ground, with a charming abrash (or, colour variation, which adds a real sense of depth and character. The design employs repeated vegetal motifs in ivory and ochre tones, framed by a wide border.

A timeless and stylish rug to complement a wide variety of settings.
