Exceptional Tabriz and Veramin Carpets in a Northern English Country House

This was an especially exciting porject to be invited to work on, and we were really happy with the carpets we were able to provide – we feel they suited the spaces perfectly. For the Library, the client was after something bold and colourful, to add warmth and charm to the room. The 19th Century Tabriz we settled on was a true one-of-a-kind, with an exceptionally unusual teal green field. In the entrance hall, the brief was for something more understated, and the Veramin rug – these have always been among our favourites – fit perfectly, with a well-balanced all-over design, and sitting nicely against the blue and terracotta tones in the upholstery and in the paint chosen for the walls in the rest of the room.

For another Tabriz carpets currently available, with a similarly rare sky blue field, please see here – for other Veramins, this piece is an especially lovely example.
