This finely handwoven contemporary flatweave carpet, inspired by mid-century modern Swedish pieces, represents a wonderful example of its type, with fresh vegetable dyed colours, including cornflower and denim blue sqaure forms repeated across the field – the subtle variation in tone adds a great sense of depth to its otherwise stripped-back, simplified drawing. The design is framed by an ivory border, with ochre colour accents – a warm, harmonious palette.
