Origin: Persia
Circa: 1900's
Size: 4.25 x 1.00 metres14' x 3'2 feet

‘North West’ refers to a myriad group of villages with weaving styles borrowed from a range of influences from different regions which were combined to form unmistakably unique pieces. These rugs also bore tribal interpretations of sophisticated workshop weavings.

This attractive  long Runner has a monochrome overall ‘lattice’ drawing framed by a wide ivory border. The charming colour variation of muted grey and light blue in the field provides great depth and richness to the simple drawing.

In very good condition for everyday use.

A stylish and understated example that would blend nicely in a wide variety of spaces.
